The Spa of the Domain, between luxury and relaxation
Heated indoor and outdoor pools, swimming lane in the vaulted cellar of the Castle, Nordic baths, sauna, massages in troglodyte in a lush natural setting. The spirit is decidedly zen.
The Street Art ParK
A green oasis of over 12 acre which contains an open-air urban museum. More than 60 contemporary artworks, numerous spaces suitable for events, games or concerts.

The Baladin, the little restaurant of the domain
Offers healthy & local breakfasts, brunch, lunch on the terrace facing the river Loire or have a gourmet basket delivered directly to your roomfor a private meal. We preferably use local and organic products.
Le Baladin is open in the warm season, from 1 April to 18 October. All year round, for your family meals, our chef Guillaume Susin cooks on site, at Le Pressoir du Château.

Can we hire the château exclusively for a birthday or a family gathering?
Yes. The Château and the Aubigny Tower can be hired exclusively for 10 to 20 guests: 10 bedrooms, large lounges, a dining room, a double kitchen, the Spa Côté Loire and private gardens. Beyond that, the houses on the estate add more accommodation, for up to 90 guests in all.
How many people can stay on the estate?
Up to 90 people, in 26 places to stay: the château rooms, the Aubigny Tower, suites with a kitchen and houses for up to 8 guests.
Who prepares the meals?
Our chef, Guillaume Susin, and his team: everything is cooked on site, around seasonal produce and Loire wines, and the menu is designed with you.
How do I get to Château de Candes from Paris or Tours?
Candes-Saint-Martin lies between Saumur (20 minutes) and Chinon (25 minutes), 1 hour from Tours and Angers and about 3 hours’ drive from Paris. By train: TGV from Paris to Tours (Saint-Pierre-des-Corps) in about 1 hour, then a regional train to Port-Boulet station, 10 minutes from the château.
