How many people can a seminar at Château de Candes host?
Up to 60 people for a residential seminar, with 33 bedrooms on the estate, single or twin. For a executive committee meeting of 10 to 20 people, the Château and the Tower can be hired exclusively: 10 bedrooms and a dining room seating 14.
Which meeting rooms does the château offer?
The Salle Pressoir (40 U-shape, 60 theatre), the Salle Nef (30 U-shape, 50 theatre), the troglodyte gallery (30 for dinner) and the château dining room (14 around the table), with screen, projectors, sound system and fibre Wi-Fi.
Who prepares the meals?
Our chef, Guillaume Susin, and his team: everything is cooked on site, around seasonal produce and Loire wines, and the menu is designed with you.
How do I get to Château de Candes from Paris or Tours?
Candes-Saint-Martin lies between Saumur (20 minutes) and Chinon (25 minutes), 1 hour from Tours and Angers and about 3 hours’ drive from Paris. By train: TGV from Paris to Tours (Saint-Pierre-des-Corps) in about 1 hour, then a regional train to Port-Boulet station, 10 minutes from the château.
